Studio 61, is firmly committed to a policy of equal access and treatment within its activities, advertisements and other literature for all people regardless of ability, age, ethnic origin, gender and sexual orientation, and will endeavour to ensure that no-one is placed at a disadvantage by any unjustifiable requirements or conditions.

Studio 61 is, furthermore, fully committed to be proactive in our management of diversity and to value differences, whether they are visible or not visible so that talents are fully utilised. Proactive elimination of all forms of discrimination, direct or indirect, which restrict or hinder the promotion of equal opportunities, is encouraged by the provision of equal treatment and the valuing of diversity.

The policy aims:-

  • To ensure that all members and potential members are aware of the existence of the Policy; its aims and objectives, and their role in the implementation.
  • To provide the necessary encouragement and guidance, advice and training to all members and interested parties.
  • To provide a framework against which to monitor and assess progress towards achieving equality of opportunity and identify any areas of potential discrimination with the intention of taking corrective action.
  • Any instances of discriminatory behaviour will be dealt with promptly and firmly by the Committee.
  • Studio 61 will carry out regular reviews of procedures and literature to promote equal opportunities.
